This piece shows a woman, painted i a way she nearly fades into the canvas, bending backwards, under a dripping splash of acrylic. Is she dancing? How is she interacting with this color flowing towards her? I felt this painting had to be a metaphor of how we act, what we choose to do, while life is in front of us - do we go with the flow? Do we wait for it, or hide from it...?
