Acrylic on canvas, 40x40 cm, 2025
A woman sits within green acrylic splashes on a plain white background. Her form blends with the paint, becoming part of it. I followed the cracks in the dried splashes and shaped them into leaves and branches—like nature growing through her, or maybe from her. The colors are simple, but the idea is rooted in something older: the deep connection between humans and the natural world. In many Indigenous cultures, there's no real line between people and nature—no idea of them being separate. That sense of unity, of belonging to the earth rather than standing apart from it, is what this painting is about for me. It’s minimalist in form, but it carries a quiet depth.
